Mary Kay was born on September 9, 1942, in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late Warren and Madeline Sutton. From an early age, she displayed a caring spirit while helping to care for her younger brother, Jon, and her sister, Nancy Jo-a compassion that would shape her life's work. After moving to Buffalo in the early 1960s, Mary Kay married Otis Osborne Jr., and together they raised seven children-four daughters and three sons. She devoted herself to her family while worshipping at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W. L. Jones. In 1985, after a personal spiritual journey, she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she remained a faithful member, enjoying both learning and teaching the principles of her faith.Mary Kay dedicated more than five decades to nursing. After graduating from the University at Buffalo in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in nursing, specializing in neurology and geriatric care, she served patients with compassion at Columbus Hospital, Buffalo General Hospital, Deaconess Hospital, Millard Fillmore Hospital, Roswell Park, and through numerous private-duty nursing assignments.Following a long and rewarding nursing career, the years of hard work eventually took a toll on her health. She moved to Arizona in the mid 90's to begin a new chapter in life, where she met and married Andrew Diverde. Together they enjoyed traveling between Arizona and New York, spending time with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and visiting Grandma Vogel's farm in Dansville, New York.Mary Kay Osborne-Diverde entered into eternal rest on July 24, 2026.She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Nancy Jo Sutton; one daughter, Abby Bloniarz; three sons, David L.
